What is a fun fact about you?
When I was a child, I wanted to be a surgeon so when my grandad was napping on the couch, I would put on dad’s painting mask & pretend to be doing surgery on my grandad while he was asleep - I think it’s cute, but now that I share the story, it sounds kinda creepy!

If you had to introduce yourself in one paragraph, what would you say?
Kia ora, I’m Nikita. I grew up in Tauranga with my mum & two sisters. I love hanging out with my family, or being curled up with a pot of tea & a good book. I’m trying to be more active this year so I’ve just started playing squash, & I am a proud aunty to 4 beautiful nephews.

What is your star sign?
Scorpio sun sign, with Aquarius moon & Aquarius rising.

What is your favorite food?
Cheese! I’ve never met a cheese I haven’t loved!

Who is your celebrity crush?
I don’t think I have one.

If you weren’t in your current role, what would you be?
If I won lotto I would love to open an Alice in Wonderland themed cocktail bar / escape room! Otherwise, I’d still be doing outback midwife contracts in Australia.

What were you like at school?
I dropped out of school at 15, but eventually found my way to midwifery & still graduated by 21 despite being a school leaver.

What’s something you’ve always wanted to learn?
Belly dancing.

What’s something that really annoys you?
Spelling / grammatical errors & people that can’t make a good cup of tea.

Do you have a treasured possession?
My sisters & I all got the same ring from our mum when we turned 30 (I turned 30 first & picked a ring then my sisters loved it so much they each wanted the same ring when they turned 30) so now we all have matching rings which is cute.
