How do you identify yourself?
He/him

If you had to introduce yourself in one paragraph, what would you say?
I am a first-generation Kiwi-Indian born and raised in Tāmaki Makaurau and am now proud to call Pōneke home. I am drawn to mahi that allows me to utilise my lived experience, skills, and knowledge to facilitate impact for those I serve. This fueled my desire to join the EVOLVE board. I am interested in issues at the intersection of public health and the law and am particularly passionate about exploring ways in which we can better utilise the law to shape social and economic environments conducive to more equitable health outcomes for our currently underserved tamariki and rangatahi. Outside of mahi you’ll find me venturing Pōneke in search of the best flat white, watching cricket or NFL (go Ravens!), or spending time with friends and whānau.

What is your star sign?
Libra

What were you like at school?
Driven but directionless, and a fiend on the handball squares.

What’s your karaoke song?
I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) – The Proclaimers

What’s something that really annoys you?
Slow walkers
