I don’t think I knew what I was getting into when I decided to go to med school, but luckily I love being a doctor and especially a GP! I love being able to help people out with heaps of different stuff and working with young people is my favorite because I remember what a scary and exciting time it was for me and my friends really well. I was born and grew up in Wellington so being here is coming home for me and it might surprise you how much some things haven’t changed. I went to university in Dunedin and also did my post graduate certificate in Child Health through Otago but while I was living and working in Christchurch. On the weekends I like to go up Mt Kaukau with my dog and check out the views of our beautiful city.
