She/Her/Ms
What is a fun fact about you?
I am enrolling in adult hip hop classes this year.
If you had to introduce yourself in one paragraph, what would you say?
I’m a Wellingtonian. My father is from the village of Falefa, in Upolu, Samoa, and my mother is from Avarua, Rarotonga. I’m married to Bruce and have an adult stepson. My career as a former public servant spans 30 years, as an 18-yr old cadet, in an administration role, gradually moving into a variety of management and leadership roles in different agencies. I recently changed my career and moved into consulting in 2023 and became a partner not long after. I have worked with and supported governance committees in the past, and my experience as a member of committees includes, Pacific Women’s Network, Wellington Samoan Rugby, and organisational governance committees. I’m an active relaxer; I enjoy watching and participating in sports and participate in Ōtaki River Parkrun most Saturdays. I like to swim at the weekends and enjoy reading, travel and cooking whenever I have the opportunity. I’m excited to be a trustee for Evolve Youth Charity Organisation and look forward to serving youth alongside like-minded people.
