A group for younger parents – Fridays 12 – 2pm
Evolve’s parents’ group meets every Friday from 12-2pm, in the hang out space at Evolve. This is a safe, inclusive, non-judgmental environment for younger parents.
Come and hang out, relax, chat with other parents, share stories, ask advice, and build your support and social networks. This is a supportive environment where you can talk about both the struggles and joys of parenting. Babies are of course welcome, and kai is provided for lunch.

The group has a small sling library and we can provide advice on baby-wearing and lend out carriers when they are available. Some of our parents have found this to be a very useful parenting tool! We also have a small library of parenting books, which are free to borrow and lots of toys to play with!
Breastfeeding Support
Evolve also offers a fully certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) for all mothers under 25 years. You do not need to be an Evolve client to access this free service. Our amazing GP and Lactation Consultant Dr Rona Carroll can help with:
- Painful nipples
- Concerns about milk supply
- Oversupply
- Infections like mastitis, blocked ducts, thrush
- Concerns with baby’s weight gain
- Breastfeeding and medication questions
- Help with latch
- Antenatal breastfeeding education or questions
Any parent under the age of 25 can book a free appointment for breastfeeding support. Please contact Reception to make a booking. If you are unable to come to Evolve, Rona can give you a call instead.
